From 25 May 2018, the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 94/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) concerning data protection shall apply, on that day the provisions of the Act implementing the GDPR - Act of 10 May 2018 on personal data protection (Journal of Laws [Dz.U.] 2018, item 1000, as amended) shall also come into force.
