Complete watertightness
The system is fully resistant to the influence of water and humidity. It is characterised by water tightness class IPX8, meaning that the system will operate without problems even several metres under water!

Bone sound conduction on the receiver
The sound is transmitted via vibrations of the cheekbones. The headphones do not cover the ears, hence they do not hinder access by ambient sounds.

The system sports a range of up to 100 metres, hence it will work without difficulty even on the largest pools.
Receiver in the form of comfortable headphones
In the mGuide AQUA system, the classic receiver has been replaced by a set of comfortable and lightweight – weighing just 39 grams – sports headphones with a behind-the-neck bar.
The receiver uses bone conduction to transmit sounds, ensuring perfect quality of transfer both above as well as below the waterline.
In addition, the unit has just three buttons, so anyone, including children, can use it.
Bone conduction
Bone conduction distributes sound through vibrations on the cheekbones, hence we are able to hear the transmitted sounds despite the fact that the ends of the headphones are not in the ears but outside them (at the spot where the earlobe touches the head).
This sound transmission method is fully safe; it is used for the construction of hearing aids.
Intuitive transmitter
The transmitter is very simple and intuitive to use.
It has a built-in microphone as well as jack allowing the connection of an external microphone (a so-called tie microphone).
The unit is, of course, waterproof, hence it is impervious to splashing or even falls to the very bottom of the pool.
Many possibilities
The mGuide AQUA transmitter uses nine channels, meaning that up to nine trainers can conduct classes in the same pool, or that one trainer can interchangeably provide suggestions to nine persons using separate channels. Alternatively, a trainer can work with an entire group using one channel.
