Restaurants
A waiter, accepting an order at the table, can have it conveyed directly to the kitchen. They can also put a question to the cook should the customer have remarks or any special requests to the meal being served. When the order is ready, the kitchen may convey this information directly to the specific server, hence they do not need to peek into the serving area every now and then waiting for the relevant ordered meal. The waitstaff may also communicate without kitchen participation.
Hotels
At a hotel, coordination between members of e. g. the facility cleaning services or the reception and the other employees is very important. Such sites are frequently quite large, with staff spread out throughout various points.

mGuide GST
The system is composed of the following:
- pocket mGuide GST G2 intercom units in the form of personal radios for the employees, e. g. the waiters, bussers/ servers, bartenders, the hotel cleaners/ facility management or security personnel
- a discrete headset with a unique, almost invisible earpiece connector
- the mGuide GST G1 team communication central unit which, thanks to its built-in loudspeaker, may constitute the information centre, with its built-in Bluetooth unit enabling it to work as a sound amplifier and music source

FS-01 foot controller
The controller allows the tabletop microphone to be operated without the use of hands. All it takes is to press it down with the foot to activate the microphone. The hands remain free all the time. A cook or kitchen helper does not need to take a break from their duties to respond to an inquiry of the waiter from the dining hall or to call a server to pick up a ready meal. This is also a quick mode of conveying information in a rush.
SM-01 microphone
Gooseneck microphone. Can be used together with the foot switch or without it. It includes a push-to-talk button that only needs to be pressed in order to convey an information directly to the waiter’s earpiece in the dining area, to a hotel employee in another part of the facility, or to a security member. The SM-01 microphone can be placed e. g. at the kitchen meal serving station at the restaurant or at the hotel reception.

Well, the mGuide GST can be used hands-free! The system can be expanded to include the FS-01 foot switch and the SM-01 tabletop microphone, hence, it can be operated almost without any contact. All it takes is to press a button found on the floor and speak to the microphone on the kitchen countertop.
